Michael Lukins is the Education Manager at SBS, where he leads the development of curriculum-aligned educational resources and national engagement initiatives for schools across Australia. With more than 16 years’ experience in education, leadership and learning design, he specialises in media literacy, intercultural understanding, First Nations education and the use of storytelling to support classroom learning. Michael has worked across teaching, digital learning and educational publishing environments, combining curriculum expertise with creative production to develop accessible, classroom-ready content for diverse audiences. His work focuses on helping teachers navigate contemporary issues through trusted media, critical thinking and culturally responsive learning experiences.
