Vytenis Andriukaitis, MEP, European Parliament

Vytenis Povilas Andriukaitis is a prominent Member of the European Parliament, representing Lithuania for the Lietuvos socialdemokratų partija and sitting with the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats (S&D) Group. His parliamentary focus is heavily concentrated on health, environment, and external affairs.
Mr. Andriukaitis plays a key role in central parliamentary bodies, serving as a full Member of both the Committee on Public Health (SANT) and the Committee on the Environment, Climate and Food Safety (ENVI). This positioning underscores his integrated approach to health policy and environmental sustainability. He also serves as a Substitute Member on the Committee on Constitutional Affairs (AFCO). His commitment extends to international relations, where he is actively involved in several external delegations. He holds memberships in the delegations for relations with Belarus (D-BY), Central Asia (DCAS), and the joint delegation to the Parliamentary Partnership and Cooperation Committees with Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia (DSCA).
