Brielle Nielsen, Aboriginal Educator, Wingaru Education

Brielle Nielsen is an Aboriginal educator at Wingaru Education and a proud Dharug woman from the Cabrogal/Gabruagal clan. With over 15 years of classroom teaching experience, she is passionate about strengthening Aboriginal education and creating culturally safe learning environments for all students. Brielle holds qualifications in Education, Communications, and Aboriginal Languages, with expertise in embedding Aboriginal perspectives and cultural knowledge into meaningful and authentic learning experiences. She has extensive experience working within Juvenile Justice Education and Training Units, where she specialised in Aboriginal education and developed cultural programs that support connection, identity, and engagement in learning. Through her work with Wingaru Education, Brielle partners with educators and schools to build confidence in embedding Aboriginal knowledges, histories, and ways of learning into classroom practice. She is passionate about supporting educators with practical, culturally responsive approaches that honour culture while improving outcomes for Aboriginal students, families, and communities.
