Alper Ciftci is a dedicated education leader and Head of the Technology Faculty at Amity College, bringing extensive experience in secondary education and innovative teaching practice. As a Head Teacher in NSW, he is dedicated to transforming learning through the effective integration of technology, design thinking, and future-focused pedagogies. Alper holds the Highly Accomplished and Lead Teacher (HALT) certification at Lead level, reflecting his sustained impact on student outcomes and his leadership in advancing teaching practice across his school and the broader education community. He is a Google Certified Innovator, Coach and Trainer, an Adobe Education Leader, an Apple Learning Coach, and a Growth Coaching International–certified coach, positioning him at the forefront of global educational innovation and professional practice. Passionate about teaching STEM, design thinking, and entrepreneurship, Alper focuses on equipping students with the skills, mindset, and creativity required to thrive in an increasingly complex and dynamic world. His work emphasises real-world application, innovation, and fostering an entrepreneurial mindset in young learners. In his role at Amity College, Alper leads the strategic direction of the Technology Faculty, driving curriculum innovation and fostering a culture of creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration. He works closely with educators to build capacity, mentor staff, and embed meaningful technology integration into classroom practice. Beyond his school, Alper serves as the Professional Learning Coordinator for Amity College’s sister school network, the Australian Universal Federation (AUF). In this capacity, he organises large-scale educational conventions and delivers targeted professional learning for AUF member schools, supporting teacher development and system-wide improvement. Alper is a strong advocate for student-centered learning and is deeply committed to bridging the gap between education and industry. He continues to contribute to professional dialogue around educational technology, leadership, and curriculum design, inspiring both educators and students to innovate and excel.
