A hospitality specialist, Justin’s career spans five continents and touches every corner of the industry. His time overseas saw him train wait staff who served the Royal Family in London, manage guest relations at a luxury island resort in the Maldives, and open both a world-class restaurant in Barbados and a five-star resort in Montenegro. Returning to Sydney in 2007, Justin joined The Keystone Group as part of the executive team, overseeing the restaurant portfolio and opening six of the group’s venues. He later held senior roles including Food & Beverage Director for QT Hotels, General Manager of Merivale’s Establishment precinct, Director of Food & Beverage for TFE Hotels, and General Manager of Hospitality at Lion. Today, Justin is a co-owner of House Made Hospitality, the Sydney-based group founded in 2021 that currently operates 12 venues including restaurants, bars, cafés and a pub. He is also President of UpTown Sydney CBD, one of the precincts within the Office of the 24-Hour Economy Commissioner’s Uptown Program, established to encourage locals to rediscover the buzzing, dynamic northern end of Sydney’s CBD. And he sits on the Board of the Australian Restaurant & Cafe Association (ARCA), advocating for and representing the industry at local, state, and federal government levels.
