Niko supports hotels across the region to reduce their environmental impact as part of Hilton’s global Travel with Purpose strategy. His work focuses on embedding sustainable practices into hotel operations to help drive long-term value for both the business and the communities Hilton serves. Niko brings over 14 years of diverse technical experience in sustainability, underpinned by a background in environmental science. His expertise spans emissions reduction, responsible procurement, climate resilience, and biodiversity conservation. Before joining Hilton, Niko worked with leading NGOs – including the World Resources Institute (WRI) and WWF – as well as global companies such as Insurance Australia Group (IAG) and ALDI. He has delivered sustainability solutions that create measurable environmental impact and business value across Australia, Thailand, Indonesia, and Singapore. At Hilton, Niko draws on this cross-sectoral experience to help bring the company’s sustainability ambitions to life, contributing to a vision where hospitality is a powerful force for good in the world.
