Interior Designer | Co-owner & Creative Director, The Cheshire Cat Motel Monique Luchterhand is an interior designer and co-owner of The Cheshire Cat Motel, part of The Holidayist Group, which specialises in one-of-a-kind boutique accommodation across Queensland. With a background spanning more than 15 years in fashion design, Monique brings a unique eye for detail, colour, and storytelling to her work. Four years ago, she transitioned into interior design and founded her own studio, where she focuses on boutique accommodation and residential projects. Her approach is centred on creating personalised, expressive interiors that blend atmosphere, nostalgia, and a sense of place. As Creative Director of The Cheshire Cat Motel, Monique continues to shape spaces that are not only visually striking but also deeply connected to guest experience and brand identity.
