Guy Peterson, CEO, Redhill Hospitality Group

Guy Peterson, Founder & CEO – Redhill Hospitality Group Guy Peterson is a founding Director and CEO of Redhill Hospitality Group, leading the company’s mission to transform regional Australian motels and hospitality operations into high-performing, guest-centred enterprises. With a unique blend of leadership, strategic consulting, and operational execution, he has helped position Redhill Hospitality as a benchmark for excellence in regional accommodation, outsourced services, and technology-driven workforce development. Guy’s leadership journey began in the Australian Army, where he first served as an enlisted soldier before commissioning as an Officer. Over the course of his military career, he held command and staff appointments across both strategic headquarters and deployed operational environments, leading Commissioned and Non-Commissioned Officers in complex, high-pressure settings. His service was recognised with multiple medals and commendations, underscoring his professionalism, operational effectiveness, and unwavering commitment to duty. After his defence career, Guy transitioned into management consulting, holding senior roles with Booz & Company (Australia) and Booz Allen Hamilton (MENA), where he led the firm's international mission assurance business. Guy has also had appointments as an Account Director at PwC, and as the General Manager for Consulting & Sales at archTIS, forging strong capabilities in governance, risk, technology strategy, and organisational transformation. From 2016 Guy has focused his expertise exclusively on the hospitality industry: acquiring and repositioning underperforming properties, implementing operational disciplines, enhancing guest experiences, and delivering strong returns for investors and owners. Under his leadership, Redhill Hospitality has expanded into three interlocking business groups: hospitality operations, outsourced services for non-traditional hospitality sites (such as government, defence, remote workforce camps), and technology innovations (notably staff training and operational tools). Guy holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Strathclyde Business School, a Master of Science from UNSW, and various diplomas in management, engineering, and technology. His cross-sector experience, coupled with a deep understanding of regional hospitality challenges, underpins his vision: empowering communities and properties to thrive through leadership, strategy, innovation, and operational excellence.
