Paul is a Co-founder and Co-CEO at Patient Zero though he remains a problematic employee who prefers shared leadership, mostly for the joy of arguing with diverse viewpoints. Along with the entire team at Patient Zero, he has helped build an evidence-based approach to understanding Developer Experience that encourages everyone to improve agency, have fun, excel, be creative and productive. Paul is currently engaging board-level leaders on AI governance, sovereignty, and cost. He recognizes that these are often top of mind for the C-suite but that they often share the same AI-related anxieties as the rest of the workforce - when will I be replaced. Paul relaxes by spending quality time with his excavator, playing piano, and flying his gyrocopter.
