African Field Epidemiology Network (AFENET)

With over two decades of remarkable experience in public health and field epidemiology, I currently serve as the National Coordinator of NSTOP Program at the African Field Epidemiology Network (AFENET), Nigeria Country Office. Leveraging my MPH and PhD in Epidemiology, I contribute to strengthening disease surveillance, outbreak investigation and response, VPDs prevention and control, public health systems, and health security at national and international levels. I provide transformational public health leadership, grounded in a commitment to improving public health outcomes and delivering impactful solutions to complex health challenges. By fostering partnerships and inspiring teams, I aim to advance AFENET’s mission of enhancing public health systems in Nigeria and across Africa.
