Wieteke Wouters is program director and deputy director at hollandbio, the Dutch biotechnology industry association. Hollandbio aims to make life better with biotech - for people, animals and our planet. Under the motto “challenge the status quo”, hollandbio concentrates its efforts on removing the obstacles that our holding biotech frontrunners back in their bold mission to futureproof life on our planet. We are proud to represent over 270 member companies: startups, SMEs and multinationals that are active in health, food and biomaterials. Wieteke brings over 20 years of experience in biotech. Before joining hollandbio in 2014, she had various roles in an emerging genomics and diagnostics company, as well as in consultancy, working for a wide range of stakeholders in the life science ecosystem, including industry, government and research institutes to turn science into societal impact. Wieteke holds a master’s degree in biomedical sciences.
