Dr Toby Carter is a Medical Informatics Advisor at Dendrite Clinical Systems, a leading supplier of clinical software for registries across the globe. Dendrite has a considerable and growing portfolio of customers in the Rare Disease sector and we are passionate about improving patient outcomes through the intelligent collection, analysis and reporting of data. Toby received his Bachelor degrees in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Aberdeen in 1996. His clinical experience was predominantly gained  in Anaesthesia and Critical Care in the UK and overseas and outside the hospital, Toby has held a number of varied posts such as Flying Doctor in the remote Northern Territory of Australia and Regional Medical Director (Eurasia-Africa) for a global medical assistance company. Toby has a personal interest in individuals and their families who are affected by Rare Diseases as his eldest daughter was born with a rare chromosomal condition.
