“Josephine is the senior policy officer at Cancer Patients Europe (CPE). She joined CPE in 2024 after accumulating more than 6 years of professional experience in various organisations from nonprofits to private sector organisations where she developed expertise in EU health policy, patient advocacy and global health. Her past experiences include the coordination of rare diseases patient advocacy groups in the European Reference Networks at EURORDIS as well as the management of the health programming pillars at both Friends of Europe and the Africa-Europe Foundation where she contributed to several EU health policy initiatives. In her last role at Amgen, she coordinated collaborations with rare diseases patient advocacy groups in Europe. Josephine holds a master’s in public policy with a specialisation in Global Health from Sciences Po in Paris. At CPE she leads the organisation’s policy work and is notably active on files including the new EU HTA Regulation, the revision of the Pharmaceutical Legislation, the Critical Medicines Act and the upcoming Biotech Act. She also works closely with key stakeholders in the European health policy landscape as part of CPE’s outreach activities and contributes to several Horizon Europe projects in which CPE is involved
