Louie Orbeta, Manager, Cybersecurity and IT Infrastructure, Winnipeg Airports Authority

Louie Orbeta serves as the Manager for Cybersecurity and IT Infrastructure for Winnipeg Airports Authority. He holds CISSP and CCISO designations, a degree in Computer Science from the University of Manitoba, and a Management diploma from the University of Winnipeg. His professional journey started in the travel and transportation sector, where he developed his IT skills before transitioning to the financial industry. In his current role, Louie is responsible for ensuring the security and reliability of the IT infrastructure for Canada's 7th busiest airport. Outside of work, he enjoys working on projects that use off-the-shelf hardware and the cloud, such as home automation. He also trains for marathons and triathlons with his family.
