Sturge Mazzocchi leads Solar Careers UK, a flagship workforce careers programme, actioned through the government-industry Solar Roadmap delivered by the trade association Solar Energy UK. The programme plays a central role in supporting the UK’s target of installing up to 60GW of solar energy by 2030. A long-standing leader in workforce development, Sturge has pioneered numerous training and recruitment initiatives showcased at major industry events. He is now shaping the newly launched Solar Careers Programme: Solar Careers UK, guiding its bold mission to drive growing the UK’s solar and energy storage workforce to over 43,000 people by 2035. In addition to hands-on experience in renewables in solar and underfloor heating, Sturge brings deep expertise in data analytics at global companies and has been recognised among the Top 100 British Entrepreneurs by Global Entrepreneurship Week.
