The NEC is committed to accessibility by offering wheelchair-accessible entrances, lifts, Changing Places toilets, and induction loops for hearing support. They also provide mobility equipment hire, Blue Badge parking, and welcome assistance dogs to ensure an inclusive experience for all visitors.

The NEC is easily accessible by public transport. It's a short walk from Birmingham International Railway Station, which has frequent services from Birmingham New Street and other major cities. Additionally, numerous local and national bus and coach services, including National Express and Megabus, serve Birmingham Airport, from which the NEC can be reached via a free air-rail link.

We prioritise sustainability by working only with suppliers who can demonstrate sustainable practices. We also design features with sustainability in mind, like reusing pallets for theatres from show to show.
The NEC hosts the UK’s largest public EV charging hub, the Gigahub™, with 180 charging points including ultra-fast and standard options. Additional slow chargers are available across car parks on a first-come, first-served basis.
