Hamish is an experienced secondary educator with a broad teaching background across Years 7–12, including English, Maths, Humanities, Science, Health, History, Personal Development, PE, and Creative Arts. He is committed to inclusive, student-centred learning that connects classroom content with real-world application.  As Numeracy Coordinator, Hamish designs and delivers research-informed numeracy programs that are engaging, practical, and accessible for all learners. He has a particular interest in supporting neurodivergent students through differentiated instruction and strength-based learning strategies.  In his previous leadership roles, Hamish has driven both pastoral and digital initiatives. As Senior School Section Leader, he supported student wellbeing, led staff, and promoted a culture of positive behaviour. As eLearning Coordinator, he implemented SEQTA, redesigned the school website, and provided ongoing tech support and staff training.  His work as SRC Coordinator saw him collaborating with student leaders on charity events, fundraisers, and guest speaker programs, empowering student voice and participation.  At EduTECH, Hamish will share practical strategies for integrating digital tools and inclusive practices. His approach focuses on empowering educators to meet diverse learner needs while fostering curiosity, confidence, and real-world skills in every classroom.
