Andrew Lusted is an experienced, passionate teacher with over 19 years of experience across both mainstream and special education, both in government and private schools, (as well as previously working in the IT industry). His passion for teaching students with additional needs comes from parenting his own son with ASD. Throughout his teaching career, Andrew has sought to leverage his experiences in the IT industry to engage neurodiverse and mainstream students with assistive technologies and a number of digital technologies to enhance their learning. Of late, he has focused on building student understanding of the range of assistive technology tools available with Microsoft Windows 11 and the Microsoft365 Suite to enhance student engagement and participation, improve learning outcomes and enhance self-confidence at Rossbourne School.
