Kerry Moore is the Assistant Head Academic and Director of Studies at Stonyhurst International School Penang, a British international school committed to academic excellence and holistic development. In her role, Kerry oversees curriculum innovation, assessment strategies, and staff development, ensuring that teaching and learning consistently drive pupil progress across the whole school. As a passionate languages teacher, Kerry brings her love of communication and culture into her leadership. She is particularly dedicated to developing pupils as self-regulated, metacognitive learners who are empowered to plan, monitor, and evaluate their own progress. Her leadership style is both collaborative and research-driven, rooted in the belief that children must always remain at the heart of educational decision-making. Kerry’s expertise extends beyond the classroom; she has contributed to international conversations on best practice, including serving as a guest panel speaker at the #OSME2021 virtual conference, where she discussed innovative approaches to assessment and feedback. Her vision is to foster a school culture where both staff and students thrive through continuous reflection, growth, and shared commitment to excellence.
