- Dr Edwin Lim is an educator of over two decades, having taught at various levels and served as Principal of an international school in Jakarta (Indonesia). Currently as Lead Teacher at Hwa Chong Institution (Singapore), Edwin advocates for the development of the 21st century competencies of students and professional development of teachers, and is the school’s Coordinating Instructional Mentor, Wellness Ambassador and former Chair of Corporate Social Responsibility. He serves nationally as Secretary of the Singapore Positive Education Network. He has conducted workshops and best practice sharing sessions at national and international levels. A believer in assessment as a means of learning and growth, he has served as the Theme Weaver for the Asia-Pacific Educational Assessment Conference series (by Principals Academy). Passionate about global educational collaboration, he is the Co-Chair of FG2A (OECD E2040) and was coordinator for OECD Project Infinity. Edwin is recipient of HCI’s Best Teaching Practice Award, Outstanding Educator Award and the MOE Innergy Award (Gold) for educational innovation. Edwin’s key interest lies in helping youths to exercise their strengths, be impactful changemakers and lead flourishing lives.
