As Head of Curriculum Innovation at Catholic High School, Yian Hoon (PhD NTU) had first-hand involvement in thought leadership in a whole-school implementation of the Parallel Curriculum Model. A curriculum model that developed all students, including the most talented, to the fullest of their ability and consequently framed the school’s practice on embedding thinking skills into the curriculum, adopting innovative pedagogies, differentiated instruction and holistic assessments in the classroom.
