Jeremy Birk is a forward-looking executive leader with over 20 years of expertise in early childhood and K-12 education. He believes that schools must embrace a new paradigm that prepares students to thrive in a transforming world. This includes planning and design for emerging technologies, prioritizing personalization and real-world experimentation, and empowering students with the agency to take control of the future, shape it according to their aspirations and adeptly address its challenges.  Jeremy currently serves as Group Director of Education for Wellington College Education China a group of pioneering schools in China and the United States, where he leads educational research, program design, strategic change, and professional learning. Throughout his career, Jeremy has gained broad experience working on four continents as a teacher, principal, head of school, network executive, and consultant in leading international schools and diverse programs in the United States, Spain, Switzerland, Kenya, Rwanda, and Colombia. He has a record of success in founding schools and innovative programs, overseeing multi-site school networks, developing cross-sector partnerships, and guiding individual schools through program development and strategic change. Jeremy holds a M.Ed. in Education Leadership from the Klingenstein Center, Columbia University (New York), a M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from Buffalo State College, and a B.A. in History and English from the University of Michigan.
