Jana Benesh, PhD, is a rare disease therapeutic expert and neuroscientist within ICON's Centre for Rare Diseases, specializing in the development of therapies for rare and ultra rare neurological and neuromuscular disorders. With more than 15 years of experience spanning neuroscience, clinical research, patient advocacy, and drug development, she provides strategic guidance from early development planning through pivotal studies. Her expertise includes patient-centered trial design, endpoint strategy, development risk mitigation, community, caregiver, and family engagement, and global enrollment and retention planning.
