Founder and CEO of Connected Energy, Matthew Lumsden has been a leader in renewable energy and clean tech since 2000. Leveraging his expertise from EV infrastructure and V2G trials, Matthew established Connected Energy in 2010 and is responsible for driving the company’s growth. Combining the worlds of energy storage, electric vehicles and the circular economy, the company commercialised its innovative E-STOR system which is now in operation at businesses across the UK and in Europe. The company is now scaling up in response to the growing availability of second life EV batteries by developing utility scale battery energy storage sites.
