Ashley Grealish is Co-Founder and CEO of Windfall Energy, a London-based clean energy startup democratising access to renewable energy for the 2.3 million urban residents living in flats and rental properties. Windfall Energy's plug-and-play battery system enables renters and flat-dwellers to automatically store cheap, clean energy during off-peak hours and power their homes during expensive peak times, without requiring professional installation or permanent home modifications. Before Windfall Energy, Ashley was the CTO at ev.energy, where he developed smart EV charging solutions that optimise grid demand and reduce costs for electric vehicle owners. At Bboxx, he led the development of pay-as-you-go solar products, contributing to their mission of providing clean energy access to off-grid communities and gaining experience in energy storage and distributed energy systems. Windfall Energy has completed the Bethnal Green Ventures Tech for Good accelerator, validated product-market fit through beta programmes, and established strategic partnerships with energy suppliers. The company is preparing to launch commercial operations with their first production units, positioning themselves in the UK's growing residential energy storage market.
