Kerrie Quee, Academic and Professional Experience Senior Advisor; DoE EAL/D Education Leader K-12, NSW Department of Education, Western Sydney University

Kerrie Quee is a Nationally accredited Highly Accomplished Teacher (HALT) with 41 years of experience as a primary teacher, working across diverse educational settings. She currently works as an EAL/D Education Leader (K–12) with the NSW Department of Education, providing strategic leadership to support schools in meeting the needs of multilingual learners. Kerrie is also an academic at Western Sydney University, where she teaches pre-service teachers and contributes to teacher education in English, HSIE and EAL/D pedagogy. Kerrie has a strong interest in the purposeful use of technology to enhance teaching and learning in all subjects. She supports teachers to use digital tools to scaffold language development, increase student engagement and create accessible, inclusive learning environments. Kerrie is committed to equity, evidence-informed practice and building teacher capability to improve outcomes for all learners.
