As the Director of the Center for Global & Community Engagement at the School of Engineering at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Tim is committed to creating meaningful and impactful learning experiences for students. With a strong background in engineering and a profound understanding of social responsibility, he empowers students to become global citizens equipped to address real-world challenges. Tim brings extensive experience in developing partnerships with industry, government, and non-profit organizations to enhance educational opportunities for students. He is a staunch advocate for experiential learning, service learning, and interdisciplinary collaboration, believing these approaches are vital for preparing students for success in an ever-evolving world. Additionally, Tim serves as the Associate Director of the Academy for Bright Future Young Engineers at the School of Engineering, where he promotes STEAM education for K-12 students.
