Dr. Michael Yap serves as the Regional Managing Director of Coventry University’s Singapore Hub and is the university’s highest-ranking representative in Asia. He oversees strategic partnerships throughout the region, linking Coventry University with leading universities, research centres, industry leaders, and government stakeholders. Michael is the founding chair of the UK-Singapore Universities Alliance for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (UKSAEI) and serves on several global boards, including the British Chamber of Commerce in Singapore and the International Leadership Association. He is also an ambassador for Coventry University within the Association of Commonwealth Universities and was recently appointed chairperson of PeopleStories Charity, which supports education for children in Cambodia.
