Dr. Magdeline Ng, is the Vice University Librarian, Cluster Head of Digital Strategy and Innovation as well as the Head of Learning and Innovation at NUS Libraries. She also contributes as a board member at the FSTA Librarian Advisory Board. Magdeline co-teaches two popular courses - ALS1010 Strategic Learning: A Holistic Approach to Studying and ALS1020 Learning to choose better (general undergraduate electives) at NUS. She co-authored the book, Strategic Learning: A Holistic Approach to Studying, along with Prof Robert Kamei. Her scholarship includes works on systematic review, pedagogical research and innovative teaching methods. Other than her academic work, she holds a joint appointment with NUS Agility Office that advances NUS’s strategic objective and transformative change. Some of her interests relate to pedagogical research, innovative teaching methods, educational interventions, and research impact assessment. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons). in Chemistry from National University of Singapore, and Ph.D. in Chemistry from Nanyang Technological University.
