Ada Chen is a dedicated and innovative Head of Department for Educational Technology at Manjusri Secondary School. With a passion for leveraging technology to enhance teaching and learning, Ada has been at the forefront of integrating  technology, especially Gen AI tools as a critical multiplier to increase student motivation, enable personalization through Assessment for Learning (AfL) practices, and empower students to be self-directed learners, equipping them with the skills they need to succeed in an ever-evolving world. At EDUtech Asia 2025, Ada and her team will present their school-wide approach to integrating Gen AI in art (for mural design and critique) and mathematics (using FA-Math in algebra) to cultivate self-directed learners. Their session will share practical insights and experiences on how these technologies reduce learning barrier, offer student choice, and enable timely feedback and reflection. Attendees will gain valuable knowledge and actionable strategies for effective technology integration in their own educational settings.
