Dr. Larissa Osterbaan is a Research Scientist at Integral Molecular, where she serves as the scientific lead on several virology-focused projects aimed at developing future commercial products. With over a decade of experience in molecular biology and virology, Dr. Osterbaan works closely with multiple teams across the company, contributing to construct design and reagent development for a wide range of human and animal viruses. Her collaborative approach and deep technical expertise have supported diverse initiatives, including expression strategies for membrane proteins, antibodies, and viral proteins, helping to drive innovation in molecular research tools. Prior to joining Integral Molecular, Dr. Osterbaan was an assistant professor at Utica University. She earned her Ph.D. from Cornell University in plant pathology and her undergraduate degree from Calvin University in biotechnology.
