Hamza Khokhar is the Chief AI Officer at JazzWorld, the digital operator encompassing Jazz and its wider portfolio of digital businesses. At JazzWorld, he leads the enterprise-wide AI strategy, operating model, governance, and investment agenda across consumer, enterprise, fintech, and corporate businesses, with a focus on translating AI capabilities into measurable commercial and operational value.

A key part of his work is the development of JazzWorld's Sovereign AI Factory, bringing together AI infrastructure, enterprise AI platforms, and multilingual foundation models, including Urdu large language models. He also leads the development of Responsible AI and model risk management frameworks, alongside strategic partnerships with government institutions, academia, and global technology providers.

Hamza brings more than 20 years of international technology and transformation experience across telecommunications, financial services, insurance, and government sectors throughout APAC and EMEA. Prior to joining JazzWorld in 2026, he held senior roles within global consultingorganizations, leading enterprise data, cloud, and technology transformation programmes. In these roles, he worked with major telecommunications operators, banking institutions, and enterprise clients across APAC and EMEA on data architecture, analytics, and enterprise data platforms.

Hamza is also the author of AI Governance Playbook, which draws on his practical experience and industry insights to provide guidance on delivering trustworthy AI solutions across the enterprise.

He holds a Master's degree in Information Systems from the University of Manchester and has completed executive education in Disruptive Strategy at Harvard Business School. His expertise spans enterprise AI strategy, agentic AI, sovereign AI, Responsible AI, AI governance, data and cloud platforms, model risk management, and large-scale technology transformation.
