Rodney is a dynamic and results-driven leader who has been instrumental in driving BT's growth across the Asia-Pacific, Middle East, and Africa (AMEA) region since assuming the role of Managing Director in 2021. His strategic acumen and relentless focus on innovation have helped position BT as a leader in the AMEA market.

Based in Singapore, Rodney is a strong advocate for fostering a culture of excellence and inclusivity, recognising that diverse perspectives are essential for delivering meaningful outcomes. He is a champion for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), driving initiatives both within BT and at a grassroots level with charity partners. He actively contributes to industry panels and leads discussions on accelerating action to build a more inclusive workplace, particularly advocating for greater representation of women in STEM careers.

Rodney’s leadership extends beyond BT. He is a Board Member of BritCham Singapore and serves on the advisory board of FutureNet Asia, where he provides strategic guidance on industry trends and emerging technologies. A recognised thought leader, he has been a key figure on panels at major conferences, including Telecoms World Asia, ITW Asia, and FutureNet Asia, shaping conversations on digital transformation and helping businesses navigate the evolving technology landscape.

With over 25 years of global experience spanning Singapore, China, South-East Asia, Australia, the United Kingdom, and the Americas, Rodney brings a wealth of knowledge to his role. Since joining BT in 2010, he has held several senior positions, excelling in client delivery and strategic account management. His expertise in IT services stems from a hands-on career that began as a system engineer and evolved into major program management, including building sub-sea optical fibre networks worldwide. His ability to drive sales with full P&L responsibility underscores his deep understanding of complex, high-growth markets.

Rodney is a Chartered Engineer with a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the University of New South Wales. He also holds a Master of Science (MSc) from Oxford University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Manchester Business School.

Outside of work, Rodney values spending time with his family and enjoys cooking, golf, and rugby - passions that provide balance alongside his professional commitments.
