Jayanth Nagarajan is Director of EQator, an independent advisory firm specialising in enterprise AI, sovereign digital infrastructure, and organisational transformation. He advises boards and executive teams across the Asia-Pacific region on technology strategy, go-to-market execution, AI governance, and digital infrastructure, with a focus on regulated and capital-intensive industries.

He has more than 25 years of experience spanning telecommunications, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure, and technology strategy. His expertise includes business transformation, market development, ecosystem partnerships, and commercial leadership across Asia-Pacific.

Prior to founding EQator in 2026, Jayanth spent almost nine years with Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he served as General Manager and Head of the Telecommunications Industry for Asia Pacific, Japan and Greater China (APJC). In this role, he led industry strategy, go-to-market execution, and commercial growth across more than 20 markets, working with telecommunications operators, enterprise customers, and public sector organisations. He was also a member of AWS's global telecommunications industry leadership team.

Alongside his advisory work, Jayanth has served as Director of Subnero since 2012, supporting corporate strategy, market development, and ecosystem partnerships for underwater wireless communications and subsea digital infrastructure technologies. He also served as President of the Internet Society Singapore Chapter, helping promote the development of an open, secure, and globally connected Internet.

Earlier in his career, Jayanth held regional leadership positions at Mavenir, Airwide Solutions, First Hop, Edgematrix, and elipva, leading business development, solution strategy, and telecommunications transformation programmes across Asia-Pacific and other international markets.

Jayanth completed the International Directors Programme (IDP-C) at INSEAD and studied Computer Engineering at Nanyang Technological University. His experience combines enterprise AI, cloud platforms, telecommunications, digital infrastructure, corporate governance, and technology strategy, with a strong focus on helping organisations navigate long-term digital transformation.
