George joined Invinity in September 2024 as their European Sales Director and is focused on delivering Lond Duration Energy Storage solutions. He is tasked with promoting Invinity’s exciting technology of Vanadium Flow Batteries into the European energy markets. George is a Chartered Engineer with a degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering and an MA in Sales Management with over 30 years’ experience in the Energy sector. He has worked for a number of large international organisations including Siemens, Capgemini, Schneider Electric, Babcock & Wilcox, Honeywell and Rockwell. George has a passion for engineering and as a STEM ambassador he is working with local schools in promoting engineering as a career of choice. He is chair for a local charity that supports young people moving from education into the world of work and in addition, he is actively involved in the running of Derby Rugby Club.
