Charge Saint (by S4EV Ltd) is an award-winning app that allows EV drivers to report blocked and broken charge points directly to their owners, so that they can fix faults faster and take action to stop bay blocking from happening again.  Charge Saint gives clear instructions on how to quickly and easily obtain photographic evidence of faults or charging bay misuse, such as ICEing.  This evidence is then timestamped, geolocated and verified using our AI-enhanced algorithms, then matched with the corresponding owner and forwarded to their dedicated dashboard for review.  Charge point owners and other relevant stakeholders, such as Local Authorities, can then take action such as dispatching a traffic warden to investigate, or issuing a Penalty Charge Notice via the post.

Charge Saint has amassed a strong grassroots movement amongst EV drivers, who regularly recommend Charge Saint to other EV drivers on social media, resulting in a continuous stream of fault and bay misuse reports from across the UK.  Unlike alternative methods of tackling charging bay misuse, Charge Saint eliminates hardware costs; is present wherever and whenever charging bay misuse has prevented an EV driver from charging; and automatically scales with the size of the charging network without requiring more hardware.  Charge Saint has won three Innovate UK and DfT TRIG grants, and a DfT Chief Scientific Adviser Award.
