Ben Loewenstein is the European affairs lead at Waymo, the Alphabet-owned company operating the world's first fully autonomous ride-hailing service open to members of the general public. Ben works with governments across the UK and EU to develop autonomous driving and technology policy. His background is in consultancy in Europe and Australia. Prior to joining Waymo, he was a Senior Director for Public Affairs at a global advisory firm, working with clients on wide-ranging policy issues including AI, mobility and the future of work.
