Christina Peach currently serves as Deputy Assistant Administrator (DAA) for TSA’s office of Security Capabilities (SC). As the DAA for SC, Peach is responsible for driving the strategy and development of TSA's security architecture and operational capabilities, with the end goal of optimizing mission performance and safeguarding the nation’s transportation systems through analysis and innovation. Peach previously served as Director (Acting) for the TSA Innovation Task Force (ITF). In this capacity, she was responsible for fostering innovation by integrating key stakeholders in the identification, demonstration, and characterization of emerging technology solutions to increase security effectiveness and improve passenger experience. During this tenure, Peach oversaw a diverse headquarters staff of Program Managers who integrated operational activities, developed strategic and tactical plans, and demonstrated innovative private-sector solutions in live environments to inform requirements and address short- and long-term TSA capability gaps. Peach began her TSA career in 2008 as a Transportation Security Officer at Pittsburgh International Airport. Throughout her career, Peach has transitioned through a myriad of roles, bringing her skills and expertise to multiple TSA offices and sites, including serving on the National Deployment Force, Master Security Training Instructor at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, Program Analyst at TSA headquarters, and Section Chief in TSA’s office of Training & Development.
