Chris Mason is the Director of Information Technology at the CVG Airport Authority, where he provides executive leadership over enterprise technology and cybersecurity strategy supporting 24/7, mission critical airport operations. His work centers on Zero Trust and identity centric security models, enabling strong identity assurance for employees, vendors, partners, and tenants across a complex, federated environment. Chris plays a key role in aligning airport, airline, and government identity ecosystems to support passenger identity verification, including infrastructure and integrations supporting CBP’s Biometric Exit program. He collaborates with airline partners and federal stakeholders to address interoperability, performance, governance, and operational trust in live biometric environments. Prior to joining CVG, Chris spent 25 years as an IT consultant, advising organizations on secure architectures that enabled digital transformation and measurable business outcomes.
