Michelle Wilson, Senior Technical Advisor, Transportation Security Administration

Ms. Wilson is a Senior Technical Advisor at TSA’s Enrollment Services and Vetting Programs, specializing in biometrics and credentialing. She led efforts to enhance TSA's ability to detect fraudulent IDs and developed an interagency workflow to streamline ID verification processes. She advises TSA and other DHS components and is an member of international working groups focused on biometrics and credentials. She began her career in 2005 as a Quality Control Chemist at the Government Publishing Office (GPO) participating on secure design teams for the Trusted Traveler Card and Merchant Mariner Credential. At the U.S. Department of State, she was the Document Design Officer responsible for U.S. Passports, Visas, and other identity documents, overseeing security feature selection, manufacturing, and quality assurance. Ms. Wilson is a University of Michigan graduate with a Biochemistry concentration.
