Michelle Wilson, Owner & CEO, Blue Cavalry Solutions Inc.

Michelle Wilson is the Owner and CEO of Blue Cavalry Solutions, Inc., a woman-owned firm specializing in secure identity solutions, aviation security, and digital credentialing. She brings more than 20 years of federal experience leading identity management, credential design, and security innovation across government and international partners. During her tenure at the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Michelle led enterprise identity initiatives to modernize identity verification at airport security checkpoints, developed the agency’s digital identity strategy, and helped shape strategic responses to facial recognition bias. She worked closely with senior leaders and interagency partners on policy, operations, and the responsible deployment of emerging identity technologies. In her final role at TSA, Michelle served as Acting Deputy Chief of Staff, advising agency leadership on operations and policy, managing cross-departmental initiatives, and representing TSA in high-level forums. Earlier in her career, Michelle served as Document Design Officer at the U.S. Department of State, where she led the redesign of the U.S. Passport. She oversaw the design, production, and security of all U.S. travel documents, including development of the polycarbonate datapage for the Next Generation U.S. Passport, and established quality assurance frameworks that set new industry benchmarks. Michelle holds a degree in Biochemistry from the University of Michigan, and has contributed to ICAO, ISO, and IATA working groups shaping global standards for digital identity and secure travel credentials, and is a co-inventor on a pending patent for mobile identification credentials for international travel.
