Sandy Neisler, Robotics Teacher, Peregian Springs State School

Sandy Neisler is a passionate primary educator and robotics coach at Peregian Springs State School on the Sunshine Coast. His teams have repeatedly reached the FIRST LEGO League (FLL) National Championships, winning the national title in 2024 and again in 2025. These teams represented Australia at the 2025 International Open in Florida, competing against teams from 19 countries, and will proudly represent Australia once more at the FIRST LEGO League World Championship in 2026. With over a decade of classroom experience, Sandy specialises in teaching robotics and 3D design to upper primary students, inspiring creativity, teamwork, and advanced problem-solving. He also runs Next Level Teacher, a platform supporting FLL coaches and educators worldwide in building successful, high-performing robotics teams. Sandy’s work focuses on making STEM learning accessible, exciting, and scalable, proving that even young students can achieve world-class results.
