Joe Lynch | Deputy Principal - Wellbeing (P-12)

Joe is a passionate and innovative educator with Pastoral, Wellbeing and Academic leadership experience in both Australia and abroad. As the Deputy Principal – Wellbeing (P-12) he leads the implementation of Positive Education and Pastoral Care experiences across The Yellow Cottage Preschool through to Year 12 at Scone Grammar School. Joe strives to develop a culture of caring for the individual and nurturing wellbeing within the school community, allowing students to feel safe and comfortable, which in turn leads to heightened learning outcomes and contributes to a positive flourishing learning community. With the support of local organisation Where There’s A Will, Joe and his team collaborate with fellow educators in the Upper Hunter Valley to ensure evidence based wellbeing practices are consistently embedded in all schools within the community and these opportunities are extended to families and community members. He holds a Bachelor of Education (Human Movement and Health Education) from the University of Sydney, a Graduate Certificate of Religious Education from the Australian Catholic University and is in the final stages of completing a Master of Educational Leadership degree.
