WARID MIHAT, PhD is senior lecturer at the Academy of Language Studies at Universiti Teknologi MARA and currently serves as Coordinator of Corporate Communication and International Affairs. In his role, he leads initiatives to foster international partnerships in teaching, research, and cross-cultural exchange programmes. He is an active member of the Pacific Association for Computer-Assisted Language Learning (PacCALL) and the Malaysian English Language Teaching Association (MELTA). Warid also holds key editorial positions as Director of Journals for The English Teacher (MyCite-indexed) and the Malaysian Journal of ELT Research (WoS-ESCI-indexed). He also has served as a guest editor for CALL-EJ (Scopus-indexed) since 2023. Warid is passionately committed to advancing technology-enhanced second language learning and evidence-based pedagogy to drive transformative language education in Malaysia education. With over 15 years of diverse experience across primary education, teacher training, and national educational broadcasting (DidikTV), he is one of the resource people for the Ministry of Education, contributing to the Textbook Division, Examination Syndicate, and the CEFR-aligned Teacher Proficiency Programmes. In addition to his work, Warid is an active researcher, frequent conference organizer and presenter, and has published extensively in reputable academic journals.
