Samuel is a digital learning leader and former Head of Creative Arts with a Master’s in Education and Technology from UCL and an Undergraduate Degree in Business Marketing and Management. He currently serves as Digital Technology Lead, drawing on a Design and Technology background and business acumen to translate pedagogy into practical, scalable, and sustainable solutions. Working closely with colleagues across departments, he drives whole‑school digital strategy spanning AI integration, device management systems, parental education, and staff development.
Samuel’s pathway blends frontline school leadership, industry know‑how, and commercial insight. He has held roles as Head of Creative Arts (overseeing Art, Design & Technology, and ICT) and Head of KS3 Pastoral, bringing a holistic view of curriculum, wellbeing, and culture to technology planning. Beyond education, he has industrial experience within world‑leading IT organisations and in branding and communications IT departments, sharpening his ability to align technical capability with clear communication, user experience, and measurable ROI.
A former member of Qatar’s Executive Teachers Council, Samuel is an active voice in regional and global EdTech conversations. He presented on Digital Strategy at the Qatar Digital Learning Summit and has previously shared insights as a podcast speaker, advocating for online‑based learning models that support teachers who maintain full‑time classroom roles. His message centres on using high technology proficiency to create balance—simplifying workflows, elevating teaching and learning, and sustaining staff wellbeing.
At the heart of Samuel’s work is purposeful innovation: empowering schools to adopt technology thoughtfully, build staff confidence, engage families, and ensure that digital tools serve learning outcomes and school-wide strategic priorities.
