Pasi Sahlberg is a Professor of Education Policy and Research Director at the Gonski Institute for Education of the University of New South Wales. He has analysed education systems and advises governments about education reforms around the world. His working experience includes Director General at the Ministry of Education and Culture in Finland, Senior Education Specialist at the World Bank, Lead Education Specialist of the European Training Foundation, and Visiting Professor at Harvard University. His latest book is Let the Children Play: How more play will save our schools and help children thrive (2019). He lives with his family in Sydney, Australia.
