Olive Beverley Walls (Tan), Founder & Head of School, Star Vista Education Group

Olive is a distinguished educator and leader in the field of education, currently serving as the Head Teacher and Managing Director of Star Vista Education (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia. With three decades of experience in educational leadership, Olive has been instrumental in shaping the academic and administrative frameworks of several prestigious institutions.  Olive has a NPQH from the UK and holds a Master's degree in Special Education, from Nottingham University. Her extensive qualifications also include certifications in Brain Gym, PDG3A from the Dyslexic Guild UK, and she is a Registered Test User with The British Psychological Society. These credentials underscore her commitment to inclusive education and her expertise in supporting diverse learning needs.  Olive's dedication to excellence has been recognized through numerous awards, including the Global Women of Influence Award 2024, the Malaysian Education and TVET Awards 2024 for Best International Curriculum Centre, and the Top 10 Asia Awards 2024 for Best Boutique Education Provider (Schools) Asia. Her leadership at Star Vista Education has been pivotal in earning these accolades.  Currently pursuing a Doctorate in Education, Olive's research focuses on project-based learning and 21st-century skills. Her educational philosophy revolves around inclusion, global mindedness, academic rigor, sustainability, and providing access to learning for all students.  Olive is a sought-after speaker at educational conferences, where she shares her insights on topics such as curriculum development, project-based learning, inclusion, special education and leadership in education. Her passion for education and her dedication to nurturing the next generation of leaders make her a respected and influential figure in the educational community
