Matthew Halter is an English and Yearbook teacher at Seoul International School, where he has quickly established himself as an innovator in making student growth visible through data and design. Drawing on his background in instructional technology and leadership, he develops systems from dashboards to project workflows that empower students to see their progress, take ownership of their learning, and produce authentic, high-quality work. Known for his creative approach to project-based learning and publications, Matthew bridges the practical and the conceptual: building tools that work in the classroom while also asking bigger questions about how data shapes autonomy, accountability, and authentic achievement. At EDUtech Asia 2025, Matthew will moderate a roundtable on the role of data in education — not as a measure of compliance, but as a mirror for student growth and a catalyst for richer conversations about learning.
This session is ideal for attendees from K-12 education institutions.
