Jeremy Yeo is Subject Head (ICT) at Yishun Innova Junior College, where he leads the implementation of Singapore's EdTech Masterplan 2030 and spearheads innovative technology integration across the institution. With over eight years of teaching experience, Jeremy uniquely bridges the worlds of education and technology as both an Economics educator and EdTech leader. As an Economics lecturer, Jeremy has pioneered the use of AI-powered tools in classroom instruction, including developing RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) chatbots for personalised learning and leading a Networked Learning Community focused on adaptive teaching methods. His innovative approaches have earned him nominations for the Outstanding Youth in Education Award and Outstanding Economics Teacher Award. In his leadership role, Jeremy oversees professional development for teachers on e-Pedagogy, coordinates EdTech initiatives across cluster schools, and supports the North Zone EdTech Principals' Networked Learning Community. He has successfully led the rollout of Personal Learning Device programmes and learning space enhancement projects, demonstrating his ability to translate educational vision into practical implementation. Jeremy's background spans both classroom practice and policy development, having served as Senior Manager for University Policy at Singapore's Ministry of Education, where he developed sectoral approaches to AI and EdTech developments. He holds First Class Joint Honours in Economics and International Development Studies from McGill University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the National Institute of Education. A recognised innovator in educational technology, Jeremy was awarded MOE's Division-level 'Dare-to-do' Innovation Award and the Innergy Award for enhancing teaching and learning practices and work processes, and continues to explore emerging technologies to transform teaching and learning experiences.
