Originally from the UK, I have been teaching for 16 years, the last 10 of which have been in international schools in both South America and South-East Asia. I have a great deal of experience in both subject and pastoral leadership, educational consultancy and also establishing start-ups within the education sector. Currently, I have the privilege to work at MIS, a rapidly developing international school in Thailand. We are all through school, providing a welcoming and happy learning environment to nearly 1,100 wonderful students. I feel fortunate that in my present roles as Deputy Head of School and Designated Safeguarding Lead, I am able to have a big impact across the whole of our school. In addition to my role within our school, I write articles that are published online and within print media here in Thailand, discussing education and interviews with senior leaders in education from across the region. My educational philosophy is to put wellbeing at the core of everything we do and to try to lead through service. I believe in streamlining teacher workload and trusting our team to know what is best for their students.
