Fadzliaton Zainudin stands as a prominent figure in Malaysia's educational transformation, serving as the Deputy Director of Policy, Planning, and Research at the Educational Resources and Technology Division, Ministry of Education Malaysia. With a rich career spanning 29 years in education, she brings a wealth of experience to her role. Her journey in educational technology began 25 years ago as a dedicated media and resource teacher in two secondary schools, from which she progressively worked her way up, building deep expertise in the field.

As a driving force behind the nation's digital learning agenda, she has been instrumental in the formulation and implementation of the Digital Education Policy. Her work is deeply intertwined with its core initiatives, where she has spearheaded national strategies to enhance digital and AI literacy. Recognising the foundational need for robust infrastructure, Ms. Fadzliaton has championed efforts to improve digital access in schools across the country. Her leadership has been crucial in steering the evolution of teaching and learning practices and striving to ensure equitable access to quality digital education for every Malaysian child.

In recognition of her significant contributions and influence, Fadzliaton Zainudin was honoured as a recipient of the prestigious "BETT Asia Edtech 10" Award in 2024, cementing her status as a leading innovator in educational technology within the region.
